Family is Everything!
So, we just got back from Utah County. We came home to about a foot of snow. We had to shovel our driveway before we could do anything else. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing well. Some of you may not know I had surgery this week for an ectopic pregnancy. Things went as well as they could have and I am doing fine. I have had lots of help from neighbors and family. While the experience has been hard, I think I was spared a lot of emotional pain that could have come along with it. I'm not sure why, except to say it has been a blessing of the spirit to feel peace about what happened and gratitude for good medical care and loving family. I have had constant assistance with the kids this week and I feel ready to get back to at least taking care of the immediate needs of my family. A big thank you to the mom's and dad's who came right up to Ogden to make sure all was well and then helped out so Nate could still work and I could rest as needed. Also, thanks to the Snowden's for taking in my children for a day so the grandparents could have a break. Boy, family is everything. Whatever we have to face, we have each other. Love you all!

Steph! I had no idea. I am so sorry! I hope you're feeling better and that everything works out in the future. :)
You're such a good sport and example Stephy!
Steph, I was reminiscing the other day and thought of all of us when we went to the Halloween dance as the wizard of oz people! That was so much fun! And then I run into Katie at the mall and then Lindsey emailed me and now I found your blog! Funny how it all works, isnt it! I am so sorry to hear about your ectopic...my sister Chantel just had the same thing happen around Thanksgiving. I cant imagine how hard that is for you both. She seems to be handling it well, as do you, but I'm sure that it would still be hard. I hope that you will continue to feel better and that you will find the peace and comfort that you need. Hope you dont mind me sneaking a peek at your blog, keep in touch. Chelesta
I didnt know that jeff took you on your first date..I think that he had all but forgotten about it until I reminded him. Boys, they have the worst memories. He said how scared he was to do it and you just jumped right off! I think he might have had a little crush on you back then! I know what you mean about having a life outside of these four walls...I think it helps to keep you sane. Thanks for the thought provoking question about deeper meaning in motherhood. I am still thinking about that one. Have a great day!
