I Fear No Fridge!

Fear filled my heart. The refrigerator loomed in front of me like locker full of stinky gym socks. Too much time had passed since I had last given this fridge the attention it deserved and now that I could put it off no longer I wondered if I would survive. I was grateful that I had at least periodically removed the mildewing left overs. I wouldn't have to face that. But who knew what would lie hidden underneath those crisper drawers. Who could know what might be lurking in the back corners where leaking jars of pickles had sat for. . . well, for a long time. The horror made me shrink. I gathered up all my courage and I conquered. I cleaned out my refrigerator and I am very proud! I hope my story gives inspiration to those of you who also fear this monster.

It was years...I mean YEARS after being married, that I realized the terribly stinky smell coming from my kitchen was the draining pan under my kitchen. While complaining to my v. teacher one day, she said, "Mary, have you checked that pan under your fridge?"

I said...."aaaaaa....what pan?"

Sure enough.....
