Mrs. Baxter

In August I will be regaining my official title of Mrs. Baxter as a teacher at Wasatch Elementary. I will be teaching a class similar to the class I had the first time I taught for students with "emotional disabilities". It sounds like I will have 11 students ranging from kindergarten to 3rd grade. I think I will like the school. I have only heard really great things about the principal and her willingness to be involved. Nate and I considered our options for next semester and we have taken the first one that worked out. We feel good about it and for the most part Nathan will be home with the girls while I am at work. Nathan will be able to finish up at Weber State and we'll have a little breathing room after he graduates so he can get a job he really wants. On a personal note, I am looking forward to stretching my wings a little. I hope that I have learned something over the past few years that will make me a better teacher this time around. Onward and upward!

YAY!!! You got the job!! I'm so happy for you!! I think it will be great to get out and work again. Your girls will enjoy all the personal time with daddy and lucky Ben will have his Mommy at school with him. It's a great situation. We missed you today at the lake, the girls and I came home to sleep tonight. Love you

That's very exciting! Those kids will be lucky to have you as their teacher. That's a wide curriculum- K-3, but with only 11 students... sounds great!

We have a video clip of Nate being attacked by the little cousins. He is laughing. Avery loves him. What a good opportunity for both of you.

Congrats on the job! It will be nice to get out of the house for a while! It will be even better when Nathan is done with school.

I'm so glad you get to get out and work in your 'other' field of expertise. That will start in August. Are you there for the whole year then?
