The time-out booth. The first time I saw it I couldn't imagine using it but then I was spit at, kicked, sworn at, hit, threatened with a ruler, threatened with teeth . . . and suddenly it became a lot easier to use. Three weeks into my career and despite the bad days I like it. Despite the children's somewhat erratic behavior I can't help but love them. And, despite my original cringing at the sight of the time-out booth, I find I am very grateful for it. Here are a couple other pics of my room just for fun.

Oh! Steph! Please can I sit in your timeout booth? It's perfect!! :)
Hey, will you send me an email? I don't think that I have your current email address, and I have a question for you.
I love your room. I'm so glad you are loving your job now. Call me this weekend if you get a chance.
Wow! Seeing your room is great! You really are a teacher. I could never do what you do. Or deal with what you do!! I admire you for your choice in career. It is needed and I'm glad there are good people like you to do it!
I want a time-out booth! I think it would really come in handy. I would call it The Chokey like in the book/movie "Matilda". But it would be a clean Chokey.
I think that maybe the time out booth is really for the teacher. Does it have a lock on the inside? Think I'd put paper on that window though so the kids wouldn't know where you are. You're doing a good job, Steph! Love your room.
Oh, I bet the kids just love you! I bet you are an amazing teacher! Hope things are going better for you everyday! :)
