Well, this has probably been one of the most beautiful October's Utah has seen in awhile. Day after day of perfect fall weather and we enjoyed every minute. I can't believe it is already over.
We had fun tonight and learned a good lesson. After enjoying a short stint at the trunk or treat at our ward meeting house we decided to take the kids on a real trick or treating adventure. We drove to North Ogden and headed up the hill to a nice neighborhood. We knew we had done the right thing when the first house we went to offered us a choice of candy from a bowl filled with full size candy bars. Our kids were amazed. Needless to say, they came home with a load of nice candy. I am not sure we will bother with the trunk or treats anymore now that we have discovered where the real jackpots are found.
For those of you who are curious, my teaching career is going well. After a difficult beginning I am starting to get the hang of things and feeling more confident. It is definitely a wonderful experience for me to have. Enjoy the slide show.

I've always heard about homes that gave out that kind of stuff, but have never been lucky enough to see it for myself. You guys have been so busy! Happy Fall.
All your pics were so darling. I was so happy that Halloween was on a Friday and for the nice weather we had! I think they should have Halloween fall on the 3rd or 4th friday of every Oct. I love it on Friday!!!!! (I'm sure teachers do too!)
Such a bunch of cuties. And look at your hair! Woot woot! I was always so very jealous of your hair. ;)
I got your message about the day before Thanksgiving, and of course, I'm going to be out of town. I'm always going to be out of town when fun stuff happens! But I was thinking - could we try when you're on Christmas break? And Salt Lake would be A-OK with me. I really want to see you guys!!
I LOVE the slide show. Such CUTE costumes. You are fun parents getting dressed up too. I love your Halloween decorations. We only go door to door Trick or treating. I love it. What is Halloween with out the tradition. I am SO glad teaching is going well. I know you are GOOD at it.
