I Love SparkPeople!

So, Nate and I have been trying to lose weight. I have been going about about 8 weeks now and I have lost ten pounds. I haven't been doing any crazy diet. I just use this awesome free website called Sparkpeople. It was created by a couple who were part of ebay in it's infancy and they made big money. They wanted to give back to the community so they came up with Sparkpeople. I joined. They helped me set nutrition and exercise goals that fit my body and would help me lose a slow pound or two a week. I don't starve. I still eat the same things that my family eats. I exercise 3 or 4 times a week. The biggest change is that I don't eat every donut and brownie that I lay eyes on. Yet, I still eat them occasionally. Here are some of the tools that are included on Sparkpeople.

Calorie Counter
Route Maker (want to know how far your walking or jogging?)
Fitness tracker and planner
Lots of articles to keep you motivated
Groups to join, if your in to that
Short exercise videos
Tons of other stuff

And it is all for free. You might get some emails from groups on their website, but that's it. And you can opt out of those. They also have separate websites designed for teens and pregnant women. Anyway, if you want to get healthier check out Sparkpeople. The longer I use it the more I love it.
