School...Here We Go!

So, I know. Most moms can't wait for their kids to get back to school. Me..I would rather it just stayed summer all year. Not because I don't get excited for the kids to get out of my hair for multiple hours in the day...but because when they go back I go back. No more relaxing work free days. Boo. It has been harder this year to get back into the swing of things then any other year but I'll get there. As for the kids, they are back to coming home and answering my "How was school?" question with "Normal." That's it. That's all I ever get. "It was normal." Don't they know that I am not there with them. I don't know what normal is. GRRR.. Oh well. Emily started kindergarten this year. She is so happy to get out of the house and not be my babysitting slave everyday. HAHA. School will be good for her. She is so cute. Here are some first day pics.

Emily.  She really is excited for her first day.  :)  And I was excited for her. 

Emily had not problem coming in and sitting right down to get to work.  She comes home every day to tell me about her new friends.  Her teacher is Mrs. Crockett.  I think she will have a great year.
