My Favorite Day of the Year

I woke up this morning to a baby's cry . . . and the knowledge that I didn't have to take care of it. I heard the call of "I'm hungry." I just stayed in bed, while Nate closed the bedroom door. I smelled the aroma of french toast wafting up the stairs and I just waited for it to be brought to me. The kids were rowdy in church and I took Emily for a walk outside. We went on a picnic and Nathan got all the food ready. The kids are crying downstairs giving Nathan a miserable time and I am up here writing this blog. Will I end my Mother's Day early and help him out? I don't think so. Happy Mother's Day.

Amen Sista! Just tell it like it is. My husband also got up with Maille this morning and quietly shut the bedroom door behind him. These Baxter Boys aren't so bad...

Aren't husbands awesome? By the way, I don't know what you're talking about. That picture is way cute. And, for the sake of our friendship, I'll pretend that you're not wearing a Denver Broncos sweatshirt in the other one. ;) Happy Mother's Day to you, too!!

Happy mother's day to you. Thanks for wishing me one too. What a great hubby you have. Mine is great as well!! He did everything right! It is so fun to be a mom but it also fun to have a day off now and then and it is great to be appreciated!! I'm glad that your day was great as well.
