Rectangles vs. Circles

So, I don't know who has the magic recipe for getting children to work. The only magic I can find that really works with my kids is the kind that jingles. Therefore, today when I wanted the kids to clean their room (it was at red alert level) I offered them money for each job that they completed. "Mom," Ben asked "are you going to give us the rectangle money or the circle money?"
"Uhh. . . the circle money."
"Ah, man!"
Apparently Ben has been learning some math in school. He finally figured out that quarters aren't the best things there is. Good thing school is out for the summer. Maybe he'll forget and go back to getting excited over the circle money . . . maybe.

Maybe you can convince him that pennies are the best... because they're GOLD!

Hah! LOVE it. I laughed so hard I actually did a deep belly laugh. My belly actually shook but only a little because I'm wearing tight jeans and I'm bent over sort of uncomfortable like.

It has been a few days for me since I have seen your blog also. Nice to catch up. Sorry you could not make Fathers Day but it turned out nice. We all met at the lake and played some. Dad and I stayed until Tuesday so I am just catching up. We missed your calls because Dad did not recognize your phone number. Hey I want to take you shopping for some clothes for your new job so let me know when we can get together. I am so happy for you. It is going to work out great. Love Mom and Dad
