(Nate was fabulous. . . it was me that did not do so very hot.)
We ate and we talked. And, really, we stayed kind of clean because we were in the water most of the time. However, my dread about sleep was justified this time. Emily woke up in the middle of the night screaming bloody murder. I had to let her come sleep by me, which really ended up being her pushing me off of the blow up mattress so far that I finally gave up. I found an extra sleeping bag and went out to sleep on one of these
Now, this wouldn't have been so bad had there not been a skunk that ravaged our garbage all night long. I didn't dare scare it away for fear that I would get sprayed. So, instead, me and that skunk stayed up together and maybe I have made a friend for life.

Looks like you guys had a great time at the lake. Our kids would love to try knee boarding. It has been such a cool summer here (highs in the 70's) that we have not been able to do much on the lake.
